Wailua Bay View Guest Testimonials

Wow!  What a great response (to my email regarding traffic noise). I am more inclined than ever to stay at Wailua Bay. I have previously stayed at Wailua Bay View Ocean front Condos and enjoyed it so much I want to stay there again!! It has everything I want: amazing ocean view, quiet, clean, wonderful beach, kitchen and washer and drier, centrally located, pool, geckos and no bugs!! ... H.F. - June 6, 2009

My husband and I have stayed at Wailua Bayview 4 times and for the money, view, and beach access it is an excellent value....We are returning for our fifth in July...It is most convenient between the North and South shores. Grounds are always kept up on everyday, "hats off to you Fred".

The 1 bedroom was very spacious with a large living room and walk out balcony. The sound of the surf carries through to the bedroom at the rear of the unit. The condo was a quiet building. It is close to several restaurants and a good base from which to explore the island. We would definitely stay there again. The guestbook indicates that many couples return each year. The development directly across the bay rents a single room--not a condo for FOUR times the price.

What a great vacation! The Wailua Bayview was a perfect spot to stay, jet out from, come back to, and just listen to the pounding surf. We had a broken key in the lock incident, and we had instantaneous help from every direction!!! From the gal we called from the information sheet, to the manager, even a friend, I think, was enlisted to help us. Thank you for all of your help on your end as well. The folks in reservations were super to work with also. I truly can not wait to go back... hopefully sooner, rather than later! 

We have recently returned from a wonderful 2 week stay in condo 114 at the Wailua Bay View. The location is most convenient, right in the middle of the North Shore and Poipu. Very close to shopping, theatres and restaurants as well. The amenities like the pool and BBQ area are very nice and for some reason, almost always empty. Perhaps everyone has gone off to the beautiful beaches, which is a mere few minutes walk away. There were many times when I was practically the only person around for my mid-morning dip in the pool. We feel that the Wailua Bay View may be the best valued rental condo in Kauai. Highly recommended and we'll be back!

On October 2005, my husband and I spent an unforgettable week in Kauai. We stayed in unit #204 and the view from the lanai was amazing. We had a beautiful Hawaiian quilt on our bed, the kitchen was installed with new granite counters and vintage Hawaiian art prints adorned the walls. Most rental condos look like budget apts. Our Kauai vacation rental condo looked like an upscale apartment! Leave all the windows open at night to get the most amazing night sea breeze. I tell my friends and family I would go back just for the breeze.
