Though Kauai is a small island, it is absolutely packed with gorgeous scenery and things to do. Wailua Bay View is situated conveniently, making Kauai’s natural wonders within easy driving range. The complex is located on the eastern shore of Kauai, also called the Coconut Coast.
The town of Kapaa is very convenient to Wailua Bay View. It is a small town, but very hospitable, with all your needs covered, whether for restaurants, groceries, or other shopping. Nounou Mountain is a scenic backdrop to the town, and you can hike “The Sleeping Giant” as it’s called, from two different trails.
The rest of Kauai is just as hospitable and just as scenic. The spectacular 80 foot tiered waterfall called Wailua Falls is close by, and can be easily viewed from the highway. The lower Wailua River offers water skiing, kayaking, and canoeing. The Spouting Horn on the south shore is a natural lava tube that turns into a geyser when the tide is right. It would take a long time to exhaust all the possibilities on Kauai.
