We
think of our unit, #107, as our second home that we just happen to rent out, is a place designed to relax, let go and get in tune. We have strong positive feelings about Kauai and the Hawaiian culture
and stay in our unit approximately 60 days a year. So we've furnished it with everything we - and we hope you - would need to have a relaxing and great time. We've focused on our decorations and
pictures enhancing a relaxed Hawaiian feeling. Many people (us too!) love sitting or laying on the oversized chaise lounge.
We love the location of this unit within Wailua Bay View; right in the middle. #107 has a great view of the beach. The bedroom is whisper-quiet because we’ve installed heavy shutters on the windows
to further reduce noise and light for a more restful sleep.
Even after coming here over many years, we still find the view from our lanai, of grass, palm trees, beach and ocean, outstanding and powerful. The sounds of the surf are amazing.
Every time we visit we do something to upgrade the condo; new TV, DVD player, painting, pictures, appliances, much more.
We
understand #107 is not for everyone. Because we want to reduce any extra wear and tear on our home, no more than 2 guests are allowed; as lifelong non-smokers, we don't want smoking of any kind, even
on the lanai (smoke will drift into the unit). And we provide plenty of ceiling and floor fans, but not air conditioning; the fans work great even in the hottest months of July and August.
Happily, many people have written they are delighted staying in our condo and continue to come back year after year. We hope you'll find yourself relaxing in our condo - or wherever you choose at

Wailua Bay View Condominiums are great vacation rentals for those who want to comfortably enjoy their stay on Kauai. Every condominium has an ocean view and a private lanai, as well as full kitchen and laundry facilities.
The natural wonders of the island are close enough for daylong sightseeing trips from the Wailua Bay View Condominiums. Perhaps the easiest natural wonder to visit is Wailua Falls, an 80-foot tiered waterfall that is located close by the highway. Wailua Falls catches the morning sun beautifully, enthralling photographers and other sightseers.
Wailua Bay View condos are located just south of the town of Kapaa, on the eastern side of Kauai. The town is given a mountain as a stunning backdrop, Nounou Mountain, nicknamed “The Sleeping Giant.” There are two hiking trails up The Sleeping Giant, and this, too is within easy daytrip range of the condos.
The beautiful natural features of Kauai are too numerous to list, but they include the Alakai Wilderness Preserve, home of Mount
Waialeale, designated by some sources as the rainiest place on
earth, the spectacular Waimea Canyon, the Na Pali Coast, and the Kilauea Lighthouse.
There are more than enough natural attractions to fill up even an ambitious vacation itinerary.
Wailua Bay View #107 is located in the middle of the condominium complex, and has a breathtaking ocean view. From the private lanai with lounging chairs, you can simply sit and be mesmerized by the scenery for a long time. This unit accommodates a maximum of two guests at a time. It has a full kitchen, entertainment center, and special window shutters designed to keep the bedroom quiet for a tranquil night’s rest.
All this plus the fresh linens and towels, the community pool and barbecue area make #107 a most agreeable place to come “home” to while you’re enjoying your stay on Kauai.

Wailua
Bay View is a smoke-free resort (except
units 301 and 315, where smoking is allowed on the lanai).
Other than those two units, there
is a designated
smoking area at the east end of the building.
