Kauai’s airport is located in Lihue, which is just a 5-mile ride to the south. The nearest town to Wailua Bay View is
Kapaa. While Kapaa is a small town of around 10,000 and has everything a vacationer could need including groceries, clothing, sports equipment, and a large selection of restaurants.
It would take a long time to exhaust all the possibilities that Kauai has to offer. The Na Aina Kai Botanical Gardens in Kilauea are 240 acres full of bronze statues and of course, plenty of Kauai’s spectacular foliage. Opaeka’a Falls, which you can drive up to, is backdropped by mountain peaks, and has a traditional Hawaiian village on the banks of the river. Kauai has three wildlife refuges: Hanalei,
Huleia, and Kilauea Point, all of which boast spectacular bird watching. And there are many, many other great things to see and do.
Unit #202 at Wailua Bay View is the perfect place to come “home” to after a packed day of sightseeing and playing sports. It accommodates up to 4 people and has one bedroom, one bathroom, and a fold out sofa. The unit also has a washer/dryer and a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and refrigerator. Taking in the ocean view from the private lanai is a superb way to relax.
Kauai is a great place for vacations. Condo rentals make an attractive, cost effective alternative to hotels. Coming back to your own little slice of “home” after experiencing Kauai makes a great vacation even better. |
