Wailua Bay View provides an excellent starting point for excursions on Kauai. The island is both small and full of amazing natural landforms and fun activities. One of the closest family-friendly attractions is Lydgate Beach Park, which has a swimming beach that is perfect for children.
Kapaa is the nearest town to Wailua Bay View, and it has all the necessary supplies for a good stay in Kauai, including beach supplies, groceries, and clothing. The town has as a backdrop Nounou Mountain, nicknamed the Sleeping Giant, because it resembles a man lying on his back. The mountain has two hiking trails.
The Fern Grotto is another beautiful natural feature. It is also one of the most popular places for weddings on Kauai. It is a 40-minute riverboat ride up the Wailua River. The Kauai Coffee Company is located near a town called Kalaheo. There are free plantation tours and a gift shop. Fishing, sightseeing boat tours are available at Port Allen.
Unit #204 in the Wailua Bay View complex has one bedroom, one bathroom, and a fold-out sofa. It accommodates up to
2 people. The private lanai is complete with deck furniture overlooks the ocean. Tropical ceiling fans allow the ocean breeze to filter through the unit, and there is also partial air conditioning. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker.
Wailua Bay View is a great place to stay on Kauai. It is clean, convenient, and located in beautiful surroundings. It is the perfect place to return to after a day of Kauai adventures. |
